In the Metro now...
Breaking the law from day one.
I am meant for so much more
than where I am.
I sleep in a cave of
my hearts desire.

Our world is in a state
of remorse.

When life gets tough...

You get tough.

It's easy to sit and wonder, why me? Why am I the one that has to go through this particular situation? Why am I the one that has to suffer? When life gets tough it is hard to manage your feelings. It is hard to not look at others more fortunate and feel a spot of jealousy. If you sit and think about it, there are many people that would look at your situation and gladly trade places with you.

The homeless woman who may have had a tough break in life, is suddenly wishing she could relive that day when her biggest worry was what to wear that day, or who wasn't coming to a holiday gathering. Now her biggest worry is, where can I find food, where can I sleep at night. There are always more less fortunate people than yourself. When you feel like you can't go on... just think about how happy people are in other countries just to have running water.

Be positive and positive things will happen.
Learn from your mistakes.
Always be grateful for what you have.

It's Thanksgiving Time...

It is indeed the day of giving Thanks. To me this holiday celebrates the idea of being thankful for what we have and being thankful for the loved ones we share this life with. However, shouldn't we celebrate those feelings everyday and not just one day a year? Think about all of the times you or someone you care about took a moment for granted, did something selfish, or caused someone else to be anything other than happy. Put yourself in their shoes. Not everyone thinks the same way you do, nor will everyone share the same feelings you do. This is what makes us unique. Accept that there is no one out there that is just like you and love everyone for who they are; inside and out. Embrace their faults and learn from them. Be thankful everyday for those you have in your life and for those who have come and gone. Though they are not here with you on this day, or any other, remember the days you were lucky enough to have had them in your life. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. xoxo.

Understanding is Step One

There are many things in life that we cannot explain nor do we understand. If everyone could feel your pain, your happiness, your sadness; wouldn't everyone be more understanding of each other? With more understanding comes less arguments, less fighting, and ultimately more peace. There are reasons why people behave as they do. Take the time to understand; because they may not even understand themselves.

Sleep can wait when there is life to be had...

I think now is the time that we all need to come together. People spend too much of their time waiting, wanting, and not enough time achieving. This world has the potential to be great, to be something worth living for. Everyone has the potential to love, and to love alone. The largest obsticle is ourselves. We get in the way of our own happiness. We can mess up something beautiful... But, it is us who can find the errors in our ways. It is us who can make this world a more peaceful place.

There isn't enough time for the "what if's" the "I was going to's"... The world does not wait for the right moment. Why should you?

Make a difference in yourself and watch how those around you will follow. Watch how they will feel the vibes you're putting off... and watch how we can all grow together instead of apart.
